Great spot! Always has good music and a good vibe. you enter a time bubble though. The night goes by too fast! They have some rental cabins out back if you need to crash.

Best bar in Fox! Live music several times a week. Good beer selection. Sand volley ball and horse shoes out back. Don’t miss special events like the annual motorcycle show and food stock.

An incredible experience at the Howling Dog Saloon on a Saturday night at the beginning of August. Great drinks and service all round. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. Ralph the owner can only be described as an absolute legend! Live music that night was awesome too.A highly recommended destination if you're looking for a drink, bite to eat, live music, a game of pool, or just wanting to experience the rich heritage of the saloon and area.

Always a Fun experience at the DOG. Awesome, music events with various Bands, Spend time with some old friends, Catch up with life .and Alaskans are not shy to make new friends. Can always find a GREAT Dance partner!!

If you're visiting Fairbanks during the warmer months, it's absolutely worth the few minutes drive out of town. Wildly fun live music and a diverse crowd that gets along well. Check it out!

Awesome place to hang out. Good lodging. Owners very friendly. Especially for motorcyclists. A must place to have cold one before and after Dalton Highway.

It was a step back in time, dollar bills stapled to the walls with the givers names and dates and bras hanging in a designated area. Friendly service and they have a diner and an area for a band and dance area.

The atmosphere is laid back, easy going, and vintage. The owner is a very nice guy, the jukebox plays the classics, and there is volleyball & horseshoe out back. My friends and I had a great time.

Great place for cold beer, excellent cocktails. The music is bar none the best in the area. The Bartenders, Jori, Junior, & Tomatoe are some of the Finest in Alaska. A Must Stop!

Great food and great place to visit friends

Good place to have a beer and chill. Good live music and dancing. Food is typical bar food nothing to write home about but it hits the spot when you have a few drinks in you. They have cheeseburgers, Philly's, fries, jalapeño poppers, etc.

No smoking.nive outdoor patio with volleyball and horseshoes. Nice dance floor for the live concerts

The Howling Dog Saloon is by far my favorite place to go for live music and dancing in the Fairbanks Alaska area. The inside of the Saloon is decorated really fun with lots of great vintage classic rock memorabilia. The dance floor is a ton of fun! The outdoor area has horseshoe pits and cornhole. I was lucky enough to be there for the spring opening night. I recommend anyone visiting the Fairbanks area take a drive out to the Howling Dog in Fox, Alaska.
